Meet Mr Squirrel

The rabbit is a bit time poor today, having just returned from an early start in Manchester - a smallish town in Lancashire of no particular consequence - to a Lever arch file of papers to be read for tomorrow so just a quick pic nicked from Jailhouse Lawyer. After crasher squirrel we have handshaking squirrel.

Very endearing and not a word about the election...

This photograph of the man shaking hands with a squirell, it's amazing! It's like something out of the wind and the willows. Almost as though the squirell is saying "Ah yes, no you may bow!"
Hahah!
Nice post White Rabbit.

Perhaps the chap in the pic is doing what the witch did in Hansel & Gretel: feeling the fingers to see if they've fattened up enough to add to the stew. He appears to be sizing up the squirrel - maybe for dinner?

AWWW! We used to have a squirrel come right up to our slider and look inside. So we started to leave peanuts out there. We named her "Mrs. Whiskerson". It got to the point where she'd take the nuts right out of our hands. The following year, she brought her baby to our slider for food too!

Of course now we have 2 dogs and a squirrel-free yard....

If you were in the town of no consequence, you must have got wet. Because it has always, and I mean always, rained when I have the misfortune to pass through it.
Hope the workload eases. I guess you must be on tenter hooks at the moment as your boys are cutting it mightily fine for automatic promotion. Unlike the millers who have cunningly settled for the playoffs. Still one bright lining to the cloud could emerge after the weekend when Wednesday drop in to oblivion. Oh what joy could be had on Tuesday at work. I really cannot contain myself too much longer.

On the subject of photoshopping...

As a child I seem to recall seeing a squirrel in this pose in a glass case which had clearly been stuffed by a taxidermist...

It's my understanding that squirrels and rabbits are friends.

This one looks very jovial!
